Dear fellow PhD students,
Hopefully, the ONWAR Career Event is already in your agenda:
Friday the 6th of October 2017 we will have a full day of career talks, networking activities, workshops and coaching sessions organized for you at the WCW building, Science Park 125, Amsterdam.

What to do after your neuroscience PhD?
During the day, there will be short talks by former (neuro) PhD students with careers in different fields, including (but not limited to): academia, industry, education, consultancy, and communication. The speakers will briefly discuss their career path and you will have the opportunity to ask them all about their career choices and experiences. During coffee, lunch and drinks (all included) there will be time for networking.

Career Coaches and Workshops
Parallel to the talks, the ONWAR Career Event will also host two interactive program parts for those of you who would like to actively work on their career orientation.
● In the morning, you can make use of a personal career advice session. This is an individual talk with an experienced career coach for ~15 minutes to discuss your career options and plans.
● In the afternoon, the Postdoc Career Development Initiative (PCDI) will provide a group workshop (~75 minutes). See attached pdf for a short description of the workshop.
Of course the availability of both program parts is limited. If you would like to have a talk with a career coach or participate in the PCDI workshop, please specify your preference in the registration form (see below) and we will do our best to give you a place. Please be aware that last-year PhD students will be selected first in case of limited availability.

Registration is open. Please register before September 4th via the registration form:
